Job Description:
The Street Lighting Services Department is searching for a part time Street Light Patrol to fulfill the contractual requirements for streetlight maintenance in the City of Brampton. This position reports to the, Street Lighting Supervisor - Brampton.
Responsibilities will include:
* Patrol city streets during night hours locating street light outages
* Marking street light outages and flickering lights
* Respond to customer complaints and inquiries
* Properly and accurately documenting and reporting field conditions observed
Requirements:
* Minimum Grade 12 or Academic equivalent
* Ability to work independently to meet daily work plans as scheduled
* Excellent verbal communication skills and familiarity with dispatch radio
* Good physical health including excellent vision
* Experience with computers would be an asset
* Valid Driver’s License, Class ‘G’ and a good driving record
* Safe work record
