Job Description:

Under supervision of the specialist or senior specialist, develop, test, and debug new software or enhancement to existing software according to specifications. Ensure that results meet expectations. Work with other members of the team to learn about the applications, understand problems they may face and resolve them.

* Follows instructions, implements a set of specifications by coding, compiling and testing the applications.
* Develops and modifies program documentation for both users and operations.
* Analyses and reviews existing system and program logic problems as required.
* Is accountable to deliver quality results.
* Identify and report weakness, and may apply operational controls to mitigate risks. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

REQUIREMENTS

* University degree in Computer Science or equivalent education or equivalent work experience
* Basic knowledge of Application Development Life Cycle
* Basic knowledge of systems development methods and tools
* Basic knowledge of different technological environments
* Basic knowledge of office automation tools
* Basic knowledge of the finance or insurance industry is an asset
* Bilingual, French and English, written and spoken.
