Job Description:

The Junior Financial Analyst will play an integral role in report building, budget process and systems administration and adhoc financial analytics. We are looking for a candidate who is a quick learner with a keen interest in vertically integrated retail operations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with finance or accounting background and strong business acumen. This role is a great entry-level position for someone who is keen to develop their career in FP&A and develop within the organization.

Other key responsibilities and duties include:

* Creation and review of monthly internal budget/forecast and variance analysis reports for:
o lululemon consolidated
o Retail Operations & Other Channels
o Gross Margin & Supply Chain
o SG&A
* Administration and maintenance of Financial Planning application – including loading of monthly actuals, roll forwarding & creation of budget templates and creation of new reports and analyses
* Create & maintain capital budget templates
* Creating & Maintaining proper documentation on FP&A process (controls & procedures, financial planning calendar)
* Creation of quarterly business review presentation templates and associated financial information
* Assist in preparation of financial slides and tables for Board presentations and senior management meetings
* Assisting the team with special projects within the FP&A team as assigned
* Support other FP&A team members on reporting and analytics

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, Traits) and Qualifications:

* Business degree with a focus in accounting or finance
* Preferably 1-2 years post undergrad experience
* Interest in or currently pursuing an accounting designation or post graduate degree
* Advanced MS Office skills with particular focus in Excel
* Experience with financial planning applications would be a benefit
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Accountable self-starter. Must be able to recognize needs, formulate a response, build consensus and initiate action
* Strong ability to adhere to deadlines under pressure
* Quick learner and adaptable to an ever-changing environment
* Excellent team player and ability to work independently
